JAGUAR began as a steel goods company in Solingen, Germany's blade city, founded by Kurt Schmidt. The JAGUAR name was created for its hairdressing scissors and later became the company name.
Today JAGUAR scissors are still made in its own Solingen production, where up to 2,000 hairdressing scissors a day are ground, finished and individually tested. The range has grown to razors, brushes, combs and electrical tools, used by hairdressers in more than 80 countries.

Start with a cutting scissor in the length you are comfortable with (5.5 or 6.0 inch suits most hands), then add a thinning scissor from the same line for blending and texture.
JAGUAR razors are made for JAGUAR replacement blades: R1 blades for the R1 M, and the JT1/JT3/ORCA blades for the JT and ORCA razors. The blade holder pulls out for a quick, hygienic change.
Wipe and dry the blades after every client, oil the pivot weekly, store them closed in a case and have them professionally sharpened. Never use hairdressing scissors on anything but hair.
